Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk - a talented actor as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna was born in Fredericton, the child of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of performances as a kid and watching her mom at work. Early on, Anna appeared on several commercials for television. Anna relocated to Toronto for her acting to develop. The actress later was able to move to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They were engaged by 2009 when they were married. Anna has just recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton.
