
King Von, whose real name was Dayvon Daquan Bennett, was born on 8 August the 9th of August 1994 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Taesha. From his mother, he had three siblings. Meanwhile, from his father , he was blessed with six half-siblings. Because his father spent so long in prison, Bennett was mostly taken by his mother. At the age of 11, his father was shot and later killed. In the age of 16, Bennett did his first stint in jail in what was just the first of several confrontations with law enforcement. He earned college credits in the form of South Suburban College. Then, after more legal challenges, Bennett tried to make an comeback to pursue his career in music. The band often collaborated along with Lil Durk. A posthumous album, "What It Means to be King" came out in March 2022.
