Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone is an Indian actor, who works mainly in Hindi movies. There have been three Filmfare Awards have been given to her making her one of India's most popular and well-paid actors. Time Magazine ranked Padukone as one of the top 100 influential people in the world of 2018. They also awarded her an award called the TIME100 Impact Award 2022. Padukone was a daughter of Badminton's winner Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born in and grew up in Bangalore. As a teenager, she played badminton in the national championships, but she resigned her profession in sports to become a fashion model. Padukone soon got offers for film roles, and she started her acting career in 2006 as her character's title in Aishwarya, a Kannada film, Aishwarya. Padukone was then cast in a double role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in her first Bollywood release, the romance Om Shanti Om (2007) that won her the Filmfare Award for Best Female debut. Padukone received praise for her role as the lead character in Love Aaj Kal, but she suffered a brief setback.
